教頭note【Simple Actions, Big Impact & Be Your Own Santa Claus: Lessons from the Closing Ceremony】
At the closing ceremony, our Principal Egawa gave a speech in English. It was inspiring and meaningful for everyone.
Mr. Egawa shared a famous quote from Mother Teresa:
“Be careful of your thoughts, because your thoughts become your words.
Be careful of your words, because your words become your actions.
Be careful of your actions, because your actions become your habits.
Be careful of your habits, because your habits become your character.
Be careful of your character, because your character becomes your destiny.”
This quote teaches us how our thoughts and actions can shape who we are and who we will become. It also connects to our school motto, which tells us to respect others, act kindly, and live gracefully.
He asked us to look back on this year and feel proud of what we have done. He encouraged us to be our own Santa Claus by reflecting on our achievements and praising ourselves for our hard work.
He also reminded us that during Christmas, we can embrace the spirit of “Santa Claus” by showing kindness to others and appreciating our efforts throughout the year.
His message was clear: take care of yourself, respect others, and always do your best. These small actions can create a big positive impact in your life and the lives of those around you.
Let’s all return on January 7th with smiles and a strong spirit for the new year.
Thank you so much for reading all the way to the end :-)
